Students will be admitted to BDS course of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) Dental College Sangli on the basis of the merit obtained by them in the National Entrance Eligibility Test (NEET 2023)

All candidates should bring their original documents as per the list, with two sets of attested photocopies at the time of admission.

- e. For a proof of Date of Birth, School/College Leaving Certificate

- h. S.S.C Passing Certificate
- i. H.S.C. Mark list
- j. H.S.C. Passing Certificate
- k. Gap Certificate
- l. Transfer certificate
- m. Migration Certificate
- n. Conduct and Character Certificate
- o. Medical Fitness certificate
- p. Caste certificate (in case of candidates of reservation category).
- q. Cast validity certificate issued by appropriate authority (in case of candidates of reservation category).
- r. For OBC Candidates – 1) Cast Certificate & Validity 2) Non Creamy Layer Certificate
- s. Eight recent passports – size photographs.
- t. NRI Documents to verify NRI status (wherever applicable)

BDS Admission Eligibility Criteria:
- A. Candidate must be an Indian National has completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December, 2005 of the year of his / her admission to the College
- B. Candidate must have passed the qualifying examinations as enumerated below.
- C. Candidates belonging to General category(UR) who secure minimum of marks at 50 percentiles in NEET and satisfy the eligibility norms laid down by DCI will be eligible for admission to BDS Course.
- D. Candidates belonging to backward classes (SC/ST) who secure minimum of marks at 40 percentiles in NEET and satisfy the eligibility norms laid down by DCI will be eligible for admission to BDS Course.
- E. The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to (10+2) Higher/Senior Secondary Examination which is conducted after a period of 12 years’ study, the last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English as a core course.
- F. Candidate belonging to General category(UR) must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the qualifying examination.
- G. Candidate belonging to backward classes (SC and ST category) must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum 40% mark in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at qualifying examination.

Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) Dental College and Hospital, Sangli has an intake capacity of 100 students every year. The college is recognized by the Dental Council of India dated on 28th Jan 2013 with letter No.F.NO. V 12017/63/2006-DE
