Admission Procedure For MDS


Notice:

The admissions to M.D.S. Course to the Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) Dental College will be made the basis of merit obtained by the candidate in dental postgraduate NEET PG Exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).

Eligibility for subsequent admission:

The candidate should secure at least 50 percentile marks in NEET PG Examination. The candidate belonging to SC / ST should secure at least 40 percentile marks in NEET PG Examination.

  13. 12th Mark sheet & Certificate
  14. Permanent / Provisional Registration Certificate from State / DCI
  15. If the candidate is employed, he/she should submit “No Objection Certificate from the employer”
  16. Declaration stating that he/she is not undergoing any postgraduate course in any other institution.
  17. Medical Fitness Certificate
  18. Proof of Nationality of India/Photo Identity/ Domicile/Passport
  19. Migration Certificate from University
  20. Caste & Validity Certificate (if applicable)
  21. Certificate from the Principal stating, that the college is recognized by Dental Council of India
  22. Gap Certificate (if applicable)
  23. Anti-Ragging Affidavit to be filled at the time of admission.

  25. Six recent Passport Size Photograph
  26. Demand Draft (DD) in favour of “Principal, BVDU Dental College and Hospital, Sangli”

MDS Admission Eligibility Criteria:

  • A. The candidate must be an Indian National.
  • B. The candidate must have passed BDS Examination from any Dental College recognized by Dental Council of India.
  • C. The candidate should possess a permanent registration with any State Dental Council in India or Dental Council of India. If he does not have the same he will be required to obtain such registration within one month after admission to the P.G. course, failing which, his /her admission to the P.G. course will be cancelled.
  • D. The candidate should have completed the compulsory rotating internship on or before 31st march of admission year and has to produce completion certificate before joining the course.
  • E. The candidate should secure at least 50% marks in NEET PG Exam. The candidate belonging to SC / ST should secure at least 40% marks in NEET PG Exam.
  • F. Foreign Nationals seeking admission for the Post Graduate course in the institution must procure temporary registration by Dental Council of India for the duration of the Post graduate training restricted to the dental college to which he/she is admitted.
  • G. Candidates who have passed Post Graduate Diploma course recognized by the DCI of the duration of 2 years in particular speciality will be eligible for admission in MDS in the same speciality and the duration of his/her MDS course will be 3 years
  • H. 50% seats are reserved under foreign/NRI/Management category.

The Government of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, has permitted to start postgraduate course on the recommendation of Dental Council of India in following Specialities.
